这首没有伴奏而近似天籁的Swing Low Sweet Chariot清唱，错落有致、激情嘹亮、一气呵成，是美国民谣女歌手琼"贝兹在1988年西班牙Bilbao斗牛场演唱会的现场录音。当时演唱会的雷雨天气，观众的投入情绪，以及场地的音响效果等因素，都令这首广为流传的作品后无来者，不可复制。琼"贝兹，1941年生於紐約州，自60年代以来，一直活跃歌坛几十年，同时长期从事人道主义支持和反战抗议。
    Swing Low, Sweet Chariot是美国教会福音音乐中极具代表性的一首，以前一直在乔克托人在印第安那地区传唱，在1850年左右被发现，在美国内战后的1872年正式出版。对于美国来讲，这首歌算得上历史悠久，再加上无数的歌手的不同风格演绎，使他变得家喻户晓。Scooby-Doo, Helen Keller, Stevie Wonder, Silent, Humming and Harlots等都以各种方式演唱过这首歌，其中，以Joan Baez的最为著名，她从1969年的伍德斯托克音乐节就开始唱这首歌，而1988年的这次清唱，可以说是颠峰之做。（乔克托部落，是居住在美国密西西比州中部和南部以及亚拉巴马州西南部的一支美洲土著部落，现在分布在密西西比州以及俄克拉何马州东南部，乔克托人在19世纪30年代曾被迁至印第安那地区；美国南北战是1861年至1865年美国北方联邦与南部联盟之间的战争；伍德斯托克音乐节是每年8月在纽约州东南部Woodstock举行的摇滚音乐节）
    Swing Low, Sweet Chariot的产生背景除了和乔克托人被迫迁居有关外，还和黑奴的历史有关，自1790至1810年，大批黑人被奴隶贩子从西非海岸贩运到美洲新大陆，变成黑奴。对于在苦难里挣扎的奴隶来讲，思念家乡，向往自由，信仰宗教，咏唱悲歌是多么重要。歌词里依托了约旦河，并借用了旧约中利亚希伯来先知的典故（利亚希伯来先知是旧约全书中记载的最伟大的一位先知，他寻求废除偶像崇拜并重建公平。据圣经所述，他并没有死而是乘着燃火的马车上了天）。Chariot是指古时用于战争、比赛或游行的马拉双轮车。黑奴们期待着天使们驾着马车接他们回归故里，那个安静平和，没有苦难，并且魂牵梦绕的天堂家园。完整的歌词除了上面那些，还包括“I’m sometimes up and sometimes down, coming for to carry me home, but still my soul feels heavenly bound, coming for to carry me home.     在 fb2k 的 0.8 时代, 有一款非常出色的 MSN 播放插件 -- Toaster. 但是很可惜, 在 fb2k 进入 0.9 以后, 这个插件并没有及时地跟进更新. 好在近日笔者偶然从网上发现了这个支持 fb2k 0.9x 的 MSN 播放插件 -- MSN Now Playing. 虽然这款插件的功能不及 Toaster 丰富, 不过笔者更喜欢它的简约.
由于 MSN Now Playing 目前只有英文版本, 所以笔者就自己动手汉化了一下. 不过本人水平有限, 只好用UE来处理UTF-8字串, 因此在处理字符超出的时候使用的是最笨的办法来对齐, 汉化高人勿见笑.
使用方法: 把 foo_msnalt.dll (中文或英文版本) 复制到 Foobar2000 安装目录下的 components 文件夹中即可. 熟悉 FB2K SDK 的朋友可以下载源代码.

    这首《Gje Meg Handa Di》（让我牵你的手）（歌词）选自瑞典女歌手「Anne Karin Kaasa」1991年发行的专辑《Svalande Vind》（微风拂面）。无法形容那醉人的优美旋律，真正的天籁之音，似空谷幽兰，在耳际萦绕不绝，仿将我们带到世外桃源。而当时这张唱片一推出，轰动了欧美，成为音乐发烧友追寻的天碟。

    《Gje Meg Handa Di》（挪威语）的曲调其实源自一首爱尔兰民谣，后来由挪威著名的民谣歌手「Sondre Bratland」（1938.09.11）重新编曲并填词：《Gje Meg Handa Di,Ven》（让我牵你的手，朋友）

    爱尔兰剧作家、诗人「William butler Yeats」（威廉·巴特勒·叶芝1865-1939）亦为这首民谣填写过一首的诗《Down by the Salley Gardens》。

    好久了，总算把这套教程看完了，其实这早就在去年就把它看完才对的，可自己总是看看停停，到后来什么都没记住，只能重新来过。这一个月来给自己定下每天一定要看完一节的，刚才把最后一节给看完了，在这里学到不只是一种编程模式，而是感受一种生活方式的回归，一种安静的坐下来专注学习的感觉。

    已经迷失了好久，一直以都明白自己为何时迷失，不过这已经过去，也明白是什么使我重新看到了目标。是的这目标是那么的遥远，我都不知道自己能不能到达，对自己说：结果不重要，重要的是过程，这一直是我的座右铭，现在只希望能一直让我看清这目标，不要再让再我迷失。

    一个目标、一种生活方式，我选择了，我无悔。
